Mohan Joshi
Mohan Joshi has hard-core sales experience of 30 years after doing his Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering from B.I.T.S. Pilani and M.B.A. from University Business School, Chandigarh with specialization in Marketing. Mohan comes from India and has hands on negotiating experience in wide-ranging industries such as Consumer durables, Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals, Retail and Service industries in an extremely competitive Indian environment. Mohan's cross-cultural experience comes from having done business in almost 30 countries in Europe, Asia and Africa. Besides strong experience in industrial and consumer products, Mohan has in depth experience in institutional and government business.
Mr. Joshi has 20 years of teaching experience as a visiting faculty for courses in marketing conducted by Bombay University. He shares with young managers the experience that he has gained through working with global clients and dealing with diverse teams.
Mohan provides coaching and mentoring to several managers and businessmen in India and abroad. Due to Mohan's ability to make average managers into star performers he is a well-known corporate trainer in India and has conducted programmes for Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) and Bombay Industries Association.
Besides negotiation skills and sales and marketing, Mr. Joshi has shared his expertise in the art of dealing with people with many audiences. He is a well-known public speaker and addresses meetings of industry organizations and groups such as Rotary Clubs. Mohan's approach to analytical problem solving and his ability to deal with difficult people has made him a highly successful business negotiator - as well as in private life, especially dealings with spouse and children.
In 2005, Mohan celebrated 25 years of his marriage with his wife Geeta who daily provides him with practical tips and solutions. He learns about the new generation's approach to negotiation from his daughter Radhika who works with India's leading IT company Infosys and his son Sachin who is a student of computer engineering.
